Vintage Sewing Basket w/ Handle & Music Box Wicker Rattan Japan White Gold 8x10
Retro midcentury sewing basket with handle made in Japan from wood and wicker or rattan. Exterior features wood and wicker weave in white and gold.
Interior is yellow satin with padded lid for needles, pins and other notions.
Basket includes a music box (winds up on the padded lid) that plays Blue Danube.
Basket measures 10" L x 8" W x 6" H. Height with handle extended measures 10" H.
Hinges function smoothly. Music box plays well.
Basket appears to be missing a front latch on the exterior, a small part of the plastic piping trim on the back is missing.
Inside there is a loose ribbon attach piece. Some wear on the inside, including a stain on one side. No tears in the lining, though the padded area has some pin holes.
