Vintage Sewing Basket Pin Cushion Clear Plastic Shelf Green Mint Retro

Description

A charming sewing basket with fabric top and sides that can serve as a pin cushion. Dark emerald green rattan or plastic braid handle and binding. Fabric is a cotton or cotton blend decorated with colorful flowers, leaves, fruit and veggies.
The interior is lined with a silky green synthetic (?) fabric. The tufted inside of the lid can also serve as a pin cushion.

There is a clear plastic removable shelf that sits on top of the opening.
The handle moves from front to back but is stable enough to stand straight up.
Size (measurements approximate:
Width: interior 6 1/4", exterior with handles: 9 3/8"
Length: interior: 6 1/4", exterior 7 5/8
Height: 4 1/4", with handle extended overtop: 8"
Depth of interior, shelf removed: 2 1/2", depth of removable shelf: 1 1/4"
The lid has a bow on front and tab that extends to a velcro closure.
The bottom outside looks like it is pressboard and I believe the mark is glue from where a label fell off; it is not sticky.
Condition: Looks like NEW. Does NOT smell musty!
I got this in the early 1980's and am the original owner; I have not used this sewing basket.
I did my best to accurately photograph the colors but they are not exact.
Stored in a smoke-free, pet free, air conditioned home.
