All of the art work and collectibles being sold by Adams-Byrd Fine Art & Antiques have been collected and selected one at a time by the proprietor, an art historian with many years of training and experience in university art history departments, museums, galleries, and historic sites both in the U.S. and abroad.  The business has been based in the Washington, D.C. area for many years.   The art and collectibles that we are offering to eBay buyers are special and unique pieces that have been carefully “curated” by us.
This beautiful needlework scene features four pheasants in a landscape --- with a bare tree at the left.
Two of the birds are on the ground, one is in the tree, and one is flying (in the upper right corner of the scene).
The (wool ?) thread used in this original work of textile art includes a large variety of colors.
The landscape is primarily ivory, tans and browns and various shades of blue.
The brighter colors of the pheasants include shades of yellow, orange, rust and green.
The needlework is in good condition.
It is framed without glass, so it was easy to take good photographs of it.
The wood frame (with an orange/rust band that coordinates with the colors in the scene) does have some scratches / rubs / wear from age and handling.
The frame is approximately 13 ¼” x 22 5/8” x 7/8”.
There is a brown paper cover on the back.
The paper backing has a few tears in it, and there is a small water stain on the paper in the lower left area (but it is only on the paper and not on the needlework).
There is a wire on the back for hanging.
This beautiful collectible art for bird / pheasant fans is on consignment from a collection that was focused on birds.
All items we sell are from a pet free and smoke free environment – unless prior owner history is noted above.

Payment
: For auction items, payment is expected within 3 days of purchase.
After 4 days, an unpaid item case may be opened with eBay so that the item can be relisted or second chance offers may be made to other bidders.
We require immediate payment for Buy it Now items.
Shipping
: We aim to ship within 3 business days of receiving payment, however delays may occur – in the event of a delay, we will update you on the progress of your shipment.
We always ship with delivery confirmation/tracking.
