Fabulous vintage Kerk Guild hat box shaped sewing box. The box is made from cardboard type material and lined with the most wonderful scenic fabric! The fabric is called Grandma Moses. Shows little children playing in the snow, a rustic fence, cows in a barnyard and a cart pulled by two horses loaded with people. The rope cord is not torn of frayed, the box is not bent or stained, the oval lid that fits inside the larger compartment has the original pin cushion in the fabric. The inside of the large portion of the box has a plastic holder made into compartments for sewing implements. The box is a little over 7 1/2" tall with the lid on and about 11 1/2" long and 7 1/2" wide. A super rare item to find in this condition!!
