Vintage Ceramic Figurine Pheasant Pair, Stunning Colors And Detail. A beautiful addition to any mantle or fall/Thanksgiving tablescape. Unsigned, but made in Ohio in the mid1970s when hobby ceramics were all the rage. The Holland Mold Co of Michigan was a popular supplier of greenware. The hobbyist would select their greenware, clean up the soft molded clay form using various tools, select their desired colored paints and glazes, decorate their items and then they would undergo a series of firings in the kiln. This pair has stunning autumnal colors and the glaze shows off all the intricate details. They are in very nice vintage condition with one flaw being a nicely done repair to the female's beak.
