Vintage Accordion Style 2 Tier Wood Sewing Box. The piece in in excellent vintage condition for it’s age. There is a small chip in the wood by the hinge on one of the lids but is not very noticeable. There is some obvious normal wear from use over the years. The screws that attach the handle to the box appear to be newer. All other screws and hinges are original and in excellent working condition.
The box has a knob on each side of the box to open the fold out sections of the accordion and there is a knob on the top of each lid. The knobs are original. The top tier on one side is sectioned for buttons or small sewing supply storage. The interior is excellent, clean and ready for use. The box measures 13.25” long across the top and tapers down toward the bottom measuring 11” across at the feet. It is 8” wide and 6.5” tall (11.5” tall with handle). Please see all photos.
