This award winning coffee table book published in 1997 contains
photography by Bill Romerhaus and
the history of Haleiwa town written by Tom Jacobs. If you have ever lived in Haleiwa you will like this book. It won two awards, one from the Hawaii Historical Society, and from the Haleiwa Chamber of Commerce, and was featured in a full page article in the Honolulu Advertiser. It covers most of the town history and nearby Waialua Town too, with text and over 120 classic images in black and white, hand colored, and color. We're down to our last batch of copies and will not print any more when we run out. This would make a great gift for someone who may have lived here.
