This is a fairly rare, quality giclee print of the Moana Hotel
at Waikiki Beach
, on a single 8x10 inch backing mat, from an original (1905?) hand colored photo, the print is shrink wrapped (you may be able to see it in the photo) with caption, hotel history, and photography information on the back.
**Please note that the white margin is part of the print and not a mat cutout and that the paisley
mat board may have a slightly different
pattern (yet the same color, etc than the
one in the sample photo here

The Moana Hotel was one of the earliest built in Waikiki (1898) and the photo was from a hand colored black and white photo postcard.
It is also a little grainy, please be aware of this, but it is still a beautiful historic and artistic image.

Prints are permanently mounted to the acid free backing board using an archival photo adhesive and cannot be easily removed from the backing board without damaging the photo. If you want to use a larger frame and can't figure out how to do it with the photo mounted on the backing board, contact us and we can explain how it can be done. This is recommended for best visual and artistic impact in displaying this photo, although many people are happy using a standard 8x10 inch frame and displaying the image as is.
