, from an original black and white photograph that was hand colored of the Hamakua coastline
(Laupahoehoe?) of the Big Island of Hawaii from the 1920's? Not sure if it was a train trestle or water flume, or combination.
Please note that
edges
are part of the print and not a mat board cutout.

it is also a little grainy as it was copied on 35mm Velvia transparency film from an original hand colored black and white hand colored print. It is a very nice historic and artistic photo.

Prints are permanently mounted to the acid free backing board using archival photo adhesive and cannot be easily removed from the backing board without damaging the photo. If you want to use a larger frame and can't figure out how to do it with the photo mounted on the backing board, contact us and we can explain how it can be done. This is recommended for best visual and artistic impact in displaying this photo, although many people are happy using a standard 8x10 inch frame and displaying the image as is.
