The 48 4500 Empire tank is an affordable paintball tank that makes it easier for players to upgrade to high pressure air (HPA tank).  The Empire 48/4500 paintball tank is often referred to as the "stubby" style tank as can be seen in the shape of the tank.  The short and wide design of the tank is made for paintball players who want a very tight setup.  This tank will cause the overall length of your paintball gun setup to much shorter than other similar tanks including a 68/4500 or 77/4500.  For this reason, the 48/4500 tank is the perfect size for kids playing paintball as well as smaller adults including women.
