This American made, US department of transportation (DOT) approved, Lucite® windshield is designed to directly replace the stock size shield found on the genuine Honda brand fairing.

1984-1987 Honda GL1200 Goldwing
ALL GL 1200 I/Interstate, A/Aspencade, Special Edition/SEi, L/Limited Edition and Standard Gold Wing models equipped with the genuine Honda GL1200 fairing
(Some GL1200 motorcycles had optional "wind wings" on the sides of the shield.  If your's had windwings, you can re-use them on this shield if you would like, but you'll have to drill holes in this shield in order to mount them on it.)
(This shield will NOT fit Vetter, Pacifico, Bates, Aurthur Fulmer, Cutter nor any other aftermarket fairing.)

DESCRIPTION:
This shield directly replaces the stock size shield on the genuine Honda brand fairing.  It is made of Lucite
®
which is a very nice windshield material.  It is one of the most rigid motorcycle windshield materials on the market.  It is one of the most optically clear materials available. Lucite is more optically clear than hardcoated Lexan® windshields are.  Lucite resists yellowing more than most other windshield materials.  Another nice advantage of Lucite is that it does not have to be coated with any hardcoating.  Hardcoated shields deteriorate rather quickly, making this Lucite shield a wise long term investment.
Slipstreamer Inc., based in Blaine, MN, pioneered the acrylic motorcycle windshield industry. They have been producing quality motorcycle windshields since 1973.
NOTE: People often get confused by the product terminologies *windshield & windscreen*.  The fact of the matter is they are two names for the exact same product.
